  • Help with new Unit set

Me and my friend are making an ancient Greek mod, and we need that link or whatever to the site that tells you how to fool with the units.gif so you don't screw everything up.

If someone could post it that would be cool.

Go to sleague.apolyton.net and have a look around the design tips page. I believe that everything you need to safely alter the units is in there.

        1. Download Paint Shop Pro (it's expireware, but if you are short on money version 6 runs fine if you change the current date to it's install time).

        2. Edit Units.gif.

I am currently working on an Ancient Greece scenario. Four original Greek units are at
            http://www.geocities.com/jalfagoingonit/greek.gif
            - it won't link directly from the forum.
            Here is the scenario.

And if you get into Version 7 by opening a *.psp file from windows explorer (or similar) then the "quit" button doesn't work, and lets you in to the program anyway.

I used PSP7, aslo a expiary version-it expired weeks ago!
Well Microsoft Paint is ok, if you wan't to replace crappy units with ace ones from a units collection-remember to save it as 256 bmp though or your computer will crash.

Might hunt the net for a PSP6 version...

John Ellis's Hellas scenario is excellent, with great Greek units, but ask him first if you can use his units.
