  • The hex editor vists the barbarian city.

I need some help! I want to give "invention" to the barbarians in the Test of Time scenario I'm working on, so that barbarian cities must be bigger in order to use the "extra-large" city graphic. In ToT, cities in the Renaisance style and beyond must be quite a bit larger before bumping up to the next size city graphic. Gothmog's excellent program ToTweak allows giving changing city styles for the 7 civs, but not the barbarians. Can anyone help me to bring "invention" to the barbarians?

If it doesn't work with the cheat menue you could use an event to give it to them and delete the event once you don't need it anymore.

Thanks Hendrik, I thought of that right after I posted. It didn't seem to work. The barbarians seem limited to the very earliest techs. Has anyone had better luck?

Barbarians remain barbarians. They are not easy to use for a scenario.
There was a thread on the subject some times ago.
It was on the creation site. I shall look for it this evening ...
