  • Anybody likes to test my european Coldwar-Scen?

Nearly a half year ago I created a coldwar-Scenario which plays in Europe.
Actually I created it just for me to play, but now I am interested in how other people would like it.

    I made seven states:
Western Germany, The german democratic Republic, France, Poland, Hungary, Cechoslovakia and of course the soviet union.

The scenario is lightly unhistoric, because of the units the civs got at the beginning (1950), but I've made some historic events (The East-Berlin-Uprising, The uprisings in Poland, the hungarian revolt and so on.), but they have to be completed (in the end, I would like to bring the communist states to a collapse caused by riots done by their people [The "people" are represented by the barbarians however])

The scenario is in german, but I'm going to write an english-version of the events.

If someone would like to test it, just post your email here, and I'll send you the scen, when I completed the rest of the work!

    Hallo Pol, wie geht's?

But I have to be polite...

I do not have the time to test even more scenarios. Also I am right in the middle of my final school year and conference preparations but what I do offer you is that I help you out on any question and problems you might have.
If you wish I can also put it up on my civ2 site when it is ready for general consumption.

Deutsch ist natürlich kein Problem für mich...

Send a copy my way, at michael-witry@uiowa.edu. I'll have to convert it to Mac format for my own use, but that's no problem. As an Iowan, I'd also be willing to help in English translations.

        Ach, du liebe zeit!

        Naturlich wurde ich...oh, uh...English, right?

Sure, I'd loved to give it a test drive...my German isn't perfect, but I should be able to understand anything important...

I almost thought, that nobody wanted to test it. Good to hear, that you guys are going to test it for me!

I'm going to finish the events in the next week and translate them.

Would be nice to add a screenshot in here, but I do not know how.

You will need to create a 'gif' (preferably) file of your scenario's screenshot, and post it to a remote location (e.g. on your own web page/server). From that point you can then post the image with the [img] and the [/img] tags, with the url of the gif file in between. Try not to go too 'overboard' with images, as they can slow the download of the discussion thread dramatically. A width size of 400 pixels or less will not throw the dimensions of the page out for 800x600 sized setting monitors. You can also optimise the image for the web at; webservices.adobe.com/save4web/main.html which may further facilitate a fast download.

By all means, throw one in general direction of tatuahpo@hotmail.com , and I just might even test it.
