What type of scenario do you, on a personal basis, prefer? The all out science fiction (Wing Commander, Heavy Metal, Babylon 5, etc.), historically intricate scenarios (Red Front, Cruel Sea, Raging Dragon, etc.), alternate history (Blood & Iron, American Empire, etc.) or fantasy (Moria, Lord of the Rings, Underdark, etc.)?

I prefer historical scenarios, but I'll play and enjoy any well made scenario.

      Most definitely science fiction.

        It's history for moi.

I just wish that I had more control over some of the Civ2 characteristics.

          Ditto.

I'm playing around with making a half-dozen or so - all sci fi.

All I play is historical scenarios. I don't have any scenarios on my hard drive that are not historical. I'll look at any scenario, and I might even play another type once or twice but they just don't hold my interest like the historical ones do.

I have a similar view to Jacobite. If it's not historical or near historical I just cannot relate to it and don't find it intresting. At least that is until someone makes a really cracking Star Wars scenario based on the original films (take a hint Kobyashi ).

*looks at number of historical votes*

No wonder all my sci-fi scenarios never get discussed!!!

I am not sure what you mean by this, however it is a very well-thought out comment compared to what you posted over in the Spanish Forum about Gibraltar!

Find me a history text that says something to the contrary of my Dual Euro scenario's depiction of the anti-human war and we'll talk.

But even the best research (ehm f.e. mine) won't make me change my opinion.

Does this mean there are no science fiction or fantasy scenarios either?
