Here's a preview of my newest scenario - Napoleon 1972.
Based on an alternate history inspired by a friend of mine, Sami Ahmed, i've designed a bunch of new units and graphics, plus a massive game with many events and an in-depth strategy required for every civ.
The basic background is that Napoleon won at Waterloo and went on to conquer much of the known world, implementing vassal states and allying with a pro-French United States. The world became Francophone and is now very different than from what we know. Now, over a century later, Emperor Bounaparte's foolish ancestor presides over a crumbling empire in which both new and old enemies are surfacing to take the vengeance and freedom back.
The full alternate history i've written is a few pages long, but well worth reading (eat your heart out Turtledove ). I've been working on this scenario for roughly two years, having turned it from something like Magellan to (hopefully) something like Red Front. I prefer to compare it to Red Alert with my own pet name; Blue Alert.
Here's a small screenshot of some Rhinelander and French Imperial forces attacking rebel Indochinese forces.
