I strongly suspect there were never such "scenarios". Honestly, if Firaxis developed these, wouldn't they have discovered the severe limitations of the editors?

[By the way, you should insist on the edibility of the civilizations. First thing I would have liked to do when I got Civ3 was to check out the German unit and, if it was something like a panzer or so, immediately have changed it.]

You should delete that homing clause. That isn't a concept, anymore. I think it's an improvement, but I'm still getting used to it. (actually, I'm still trying to decide whether to keep the damn or not...the AI is looking refreshingly strong).

I'd be happy to add myself (robroy3@hotmail.com) to the sig list. But I'm really more of a playtester and user of scenarios. Having the note come from recognizable designers of fine scenarios might send a stronger message (even if it has fewer names). The dual list option might work, also.

I'll take care of the homing thing, thanks.

Everyone is needed, R R, whether you've made a scenario, helped with one or just enjoyed one. We don't need 2 lists, the scenarios are just for identification. But I do want to limit the number actually listed to two, in order to save room. So let me know which two, or I'll pick MY favourites.

I'm also wondering if we want to use our usernames rather than, or in addition to, our real names. They're what we're known by here.

If so, perhaps we could ask our friends over in Spanish Civ if they wanted to sign it as well, since they are essentially scenario makers/players too. (They seem pretty upset about something, but I can't make it out. )

I read with anticipation the release of Civ3, voted one of the best games in the Games 100. Seeing this thread, my anticipation seems unwarranted.

And thank you, tecumseh, for representing the Civ2 community so eloquently.
