    This looks fun, Bernd.

Bernd, earlier you said something about 3D rendering and improving the graphics. What program did you use for this?

How far is this project, by the way? It looks great.

Yes, George, many units and the city graphics are rendered with Maxon Cinema 4D, a very expensive 3d software (but I bought the very first version years ago at a very low price, and can update to good conditions since then ).

I restarted the work on the scenario some weeks ago, it is playable now. But I still need to create most of the events, and I will include a background story and events based "missions", e.g. search and rescue of a civil sub. Some of these missions must also be accomplished within a limited time (turns).

I hope I can finish it in the next two month, but I will not promise that...

Did you use that same program for the units you made for me?

A guy at work had the program.

This thing is neat. You can turn a picture of someone in a Roman uniform, for example, and turn it into a great Civilization II unit.

Jimmywax, no, the units for you were "normally" drawn with Corel PhotoPaint

George, the program is simply great. It only needs its time before you can take full advantage of all the possibilities, it is completely different from all 2D graphic programs...But then it is amazing, my version can even do 3D animations. Probably also very useful for the new Civ3...
