  • Testplaying new scenario

Is anyone interested in testplaying a new scenario for Civ2 FW/MGE? It's of course WWII related and is about 80% complete. I am just running out of steam playing it through parts 1, 2 and 3 for the N-th time to test the outcome and get to the part 4 events which I am working on now...
The exact subject of the scenario shall remain between the testplayers and myself until release.
Please apply only if you really want to testplay it and are willing to give me feedback and send me a copy of the saved game at completion of parts 1, 2 and 3.

Of course if it has anything to do with China, Japan, or the Pacific, I will have to spend another month one-upping you

I'll have time to playtest it a bit this weekend, if you can send it out that soon, but I will be pretty busy next week.

I'd love to. I actually have a guess as to what it is. But I won't guess yet. BTW Nemo, email is AVANT393@aol.com for the PBEM and or this.

I will try to get it out today.

DarthVeda: It's not Pacific War related, so rest assured. Designing those Naval units for Kyo????tsu has definitely tempted me to start on a 1941-1945 Pacific FW scenario from the US side, which would not in any way compete with your longer time-frame Japanese centered scenario.
I will post the Naval units here later as a preview for your scenario + send them to Anzac for inclusion in his WWII collections.

These unit graphics are fantastic! Great work. Has someone used these in a scenario somewhere?

Scot F: You didn't leave your E-mail address and it is not in your profile?

The Warships are pretty historically accurate (As far as you can make them in that little box). I always thought that modern warships just didn't fit in the Civ2 unit format but I proved myself wrong! There are quite distinct differences between the 6 types of battleships for example.
