And here it is with the latest vote:

Red Front 1.941 (New map): 8
    Stalingrad 1942 (Urban warfare): 8
    Finnish-Soviet War (Finnish side): 1
    Ardennes 1944 (American side): .25
    Ardennes 1944 (German side): 1.25
    France 1940 (French side): 2.5
    France 1940 (German side): 0.5
    Afrikakorps (Both sides): 8
Battle of Britain (British side): 5.5
    Market-Garden (Allied Side): 2
    Kursk (No Side Specified): 1
Battle of the Atlantic : 0

Currently I'm reworking Second Front with all the feedback I have been getting, so there has been no chance to start on any of the above.

So far there is a new Readme.doc with a historical timeline, a big new "hints" section, a map for the "historically challenged" (so you can find the beaches and the D-Day objectives) and a roster of the enemy units with graphics and statistics to make up for the lack of info in the Civilopedia.

There are a few events changes to prevent the capture of Caen on D-Day and to improve some of the playability aspects.

Measures have been taken to prevent the misuse of the Gliders (These measures are known as Anti-Xin defenses)

But primarily I have worked on a greatly improved use of the Kriegsmarine... Here are the guts of it:
The Kriegsmarine has only a capital city located in a very protected spot (St Heliers on the Channel Islands) all other cities are nameless and look like the 210mm bunkers! They produce their own shells and are protected by infantry... Some cities are located North of Le Havre and look like V-1 launching ramps! One of the cities is named Pointe du Hoc and is one of the Allied objectives on D-Day.
This seems to greatly improve the defense capability of the Bunkers and does allow them to "reload" after
    they run out of shells.
It also frees 2 unit slots (210mm and 240mm Batteries) for use in the game. All the bunker-cities are size one with city walls so they will be destroyed when captured but survive multiple assaults without dissappearing. Size 1 limits how quick they can build
new shells and that is good too IMHO.

One of the two new units is spoken for but let me know what the other one should be

How about the Caliopie, the rocket thrower that the Americans had.
I think that's what it is. I'm not too savy with the American forces. Don't know too much about them.

Also, I was thinking up this hairbrained scheme...
Is it possible to give land units the submariene flag? If so, it would be sweet to have some of the infantry carry grenades...just one or two. Make them a missle unit with a range of 1. You could soften the enemy before attacking. Maybe the Rangers, you know give them a powerful punch. You could have the events give Allied cities in France maybe 5 a turn. I'm no designer, but aren't the glider units like a "paratrooper", but with a carry troops flag on 'em? That is switching up land and sea units, right?
      Just a thought.

Nemo: What's the first free unit going to be? Also you could add in a French Resistance unit...

The sub-flag doesn't allow ground units to carry missiles... but missiles can land on the units which is not really that interesting.
The US rockets were largely inaccurate and a very minor factor in Normandy. British rocket launching barges were a bigger factor but only in the initial phase of the attack... I really don't think there is a need for more variety on D-Day but something interesting later on in the campaign?

          Here are some possibilities:

          British Lancaster Bombers
          Allied anti-tank guns (Britsh 17pdr?)
          German U-boats
          German Ju-88 bombers
          Minesweepers
          Britsh mobile Infantry
Canadian Infantry (Could fill a missing role as heavy British Infantry)
          Free French Infantry
          German Mortars

                Well,
Since I was the one who made the map, I gotta say the updated Red Front! Plus, you could get that one done in a quarter the time of the others, since its already so far along.

Updated (With one vote, not 9)

                      Stalingrad 1942 (Urban warfare): 8

Battle of the Atlantic : 0

To begin with I am putting some new touches to Second Front... IMHO the new beach defense system is significantly better than the previous version.

After that it looks a lot like Red Front! I was personally hoping for that because we already have quite a bit of work into it.

Damn... I'd really like to keep my vote for Finnish-Soviet war, but I'd also like to see Afrikakorps and updated Red Front... Okay, here's how I now spread my points.

                        Finnish-Soviet War: 0.98
                        Afrika Korps: 0.01
                        Red Front (updated): 0.01
