It brings me also to this question: Has someone ever made an entire scenario about the siege of an ancient or medieval city, like Carthago 146 BC or Akkon 1291 AD?

I think there is a ToT scenario about the seige of Troja somewhere, perhaps on the Crdle of Civilization...

A very good site! I'm kinda surprised to see my Holy Wars scenario there...

            2. Ask Stefan Härtel for an update of Darius 2.0

Darius the Great version 2.2 is in the playtesting stage, and parts 1&2 of it are finished concerning the events. You can see the preview here: http://members.xoom.com/SHaertel/Preview.html

            like Carthago 146 B

Well, there is my 3d Punic War scenario, but it's not as good as it can be. I will update it someday...

And I thought I was the first one to think of this...
I don't think I will go down to marketplaces but there will be city parts, important buildings like the palaces and perhaps even the Hippodrome.
But as said, this comes after my Viking scenario.

Bernd, I loved that scenario (Roman Riots).

Stefan, I am kind of one of those people who looks for fun themes and what not; it was a pretty fun scenario.

Darius 2.2 looks great; loved 2.0. Good luck.

Thank you for the comments, every one.

Stefan, I like your 3rd Punic War scenario, but my siege idea was a bit different: I would like to see a scenario, where the map is covered completely with only ONE city, like in St.Leo´s Roman Riots, with city walls, gates, places, streets and so on.
As St.Leo, I would use "sub-cities", I mean the important points of a city can be the real civ cities (for instance the citadel, the main gate or the port) which have to be captured by the attackers.
The rest of the city (streets, places) can be set as terrain. I´ve seen this in St.Leos scn, and I really like it, I don´t know if that was also Hendrik´s idea...

Yes, George, I think Roman Riots was one of the best scn ideas recently. I´m wondering why I haven´t found this scn earlier...

And Mathias, I´ll not reveal more of your secrets...
