  • Favourite Unknown Scenario

I consider Heptarchy found at Mavinshome quite enjoyable. It is about a very interesting period in Anglo-Saxon England and has but three cons:
    -The map is fully revealed
    -There are no negotiations
-It's way too hard to complete in time:-)

My favorite unknown scenario is "Zaire" by that amazing author "Unknown".

And I think we're talking relatively unknown scenarios here. I've never heard of Heptarchy.

Zaire is by Mark McGraw. I know this because in the Readme of his other scenario, Cradelands, he says something about "Kabilas march-uprising in Zaire" which is also by him.
Cradelands is OK too but very easy. It is about the Middle east from 1350-600 BC.
There is an excellent scenario about a Finnish Civil War in 1919 in which the communistic Finns, backed by the Russians fight against the others. Its name is "Red Balticum".
There are some other good ones too, I can't name any right now.

            I thought that was you!
"Paul Hanson, you should give Gibraltar back to the Spanish" - Paiktis, dramatically over-estimating my influence in diplomatic circles.

Both, along with many others, can be found on the Largest German Civ2 Site: http://www.civ2.de

It's a nice site, has quite a lot of stuff.

Oh, and 'Cradelands' will be found under the name '1350 BC' and 'Red Balticum' under 'Roter Baltikum'.

                    Hmm... I didn't know that

                    But...

                    Finnish Civil War in 1919
Whoever made that scenario was seemingly not Finnish

By the way, are there any decent Winter/Continuation War scenarios out there?

I hope that you all will understand to boycott Red Balticum because it has wrong name for Finnish Communist leader. EVERYBODY KNOWS IT WAS KULLERVO MANNER!
"Spirit merges with matter to sanctify the universe. Matter transcends to return to spirit. The interchangeability of matter and spirit means the starlit magic of the outermost life of our universe becomes the soul-light magic of the innermost life of our self." - Dennis Kucinich, candidate for the U. S. presidency
