Play Sweden... as a Norwegian, I should object heavily to this scenario going on about "Swedes, what do they know blah blah blah they have never done any good blah blah blah it's a wonder they managed as well as they did blah blah blah blah" but I'll put that aside and play it anywayLo there do I see my father
Lo there do I see my mother
and my sisters and my brothers
Lo there do I see the line of my people
back to the begining
Lo they do call to me
They bid me take my place among them
in the Halls of Valhalla
where the brave may live forever

Congratulations, Rhenskold (or should I say Jonas?). It has been a while now, but I downloaded it as soon as I could to see what differences there were from the version you sent me. I haven`t played it a huge amount yet, but I do like the new Jargiers graphic. I`m sure there`s more, so I`ll continue and see how it goes."Paul Hanson, you should give Gibraltar back to the Spanish" - Paiktis, dramatically over-estimating my influence in diplomatic circles.
Eyewerks - you know you want to visit. No really, you do. Go on, click me.

Yes there are some more changes Paul. I really like this Jagier units with the stats it has now. A warrior of the future really.
Coug. Im glad you will play it. BTW why does it exists so few scenarios based on the norweigan history? I dont think Ive ever heard of such a scenario!

Because our history mainly involves
a) Being barbarians (Vikings)
b) Being under Danish rule
c) Being under Swedish rule
d) Being under German rule
e) Being hit by nasty plagues
and finally
f) Being independent
A-E is very depressing, especially since A is only partially true. We were great seafarers, explorers, traders etc etc, but 99% of the world still thinks we were barbarians.
F is only a very little part of our history, ie the last 95 years, out of which 5 were spent in the D category...
So, there you go then, not much stuff...Lo there do I see my father
Lo there do I see my mother
and my sisters and my brothers
Lo there do I see the line of my people
back to the begining
Lo they do call to me
They bid me take my place among them
in the Halls of Valhalla
where the brave may live forever

Lo there do I see my mother
and my sisters and my brothers
Lo there do I see the line of my people
back to the begining
Lo they do call to me
They bid me take my place among them
in the Halls of Valhalla

Some notes:
- Small map.
- Strange "no movements allowed" terrain/unit
That's it basically... Other than that, a good scenarioLo there do I see my father
Lo there do I see my mother
and my sisters and my brothers
Lo there do I see the line of my people
back to the begining
Lo they do call to me
They bid me take my place among them
in the Halls of Valhalla
where the brave may live forever

No its true that the Norweigan history isnt as glorious as our swedish one! But I think it could be good for a scenario about the conquest of the british islands in the age of Vikings. Or maybe...well I cant think of anything else...
St. Leo. Im quite sure Sweden owned Latvia for a while!

Some more thoughts:
Why not extend the scenario to include ALL of Sweden and Denmark/Norway? It would make for a much more interesting game.Lo there do I see my father
Lo there do I see my mother
and my sisters and my brothers
Lo there do I see the line of my people
back to the begining
Lo they do call to me
They bid me take my place among them
in the Halls of Valhalla
where the brave may live forever
