I agree, I'd like a good American Revolution Scenario or a good War of 1812 Scenario.

The world needs fantasy scenarios! How about something based on Kipling's Jungle Books? Humans versus animals...

          Mr. Temba, don't dispair!
There are plenty of people left who will play FW(I hope).
ToT is ... "nice", still most of the time I rather play CivII.

          More ideas...
Toy Wars: The toys of the family children battle for space, the attention of the kids, more money from the parents and more.
Terrain would be carpet, furniture, etc...
The dangers...vacuum cleaners, the garbish man and of course the parents.
I am not kidding! I'm serious.

Or how about computer viruses that battle for control of the internet or a computer?
Dangers would be e.g. anti-virus programms.

          How about that?

I've always loved the ant scenario idea. Why doesn't anyone ever do it? Thing is, it's the perfect idea for TOT. You could make an amazing ant colony with multiple maps. But it would still be fun with FW.

What techs would an ant research?

Hmm...an idea for a scenario that I've not seen before and has nothing to do with WWII...

Imperium Bacterium. Map looks like a human body. Recommended civs=tetanus, flu, TB, staph infection, etc. Not for play=immune system. Fight off antibodies, white blood cells, vaccines, other civs, and that miniaturized submarine from Fantastic Journey (or was it Incredible Voyage?). Discover new mutations to build meaner and tougher germs. Spread your infectious civilization to vital organs. Terrain depicts muscles, tissue, veins, bones, marrow, organs, etc. Transform tissue into tumors. Goal=cause as much pollution (renamed "pus") to cause global warming (renamed "death").

Civ Ant. Map looks like my backyard. Recommended civs=5 different ant tribes. Not for play=malevolent nature and benevolent nature. Fight off spiders and other bugs (malevolent nature), and other ant tribes for domination of the backyard. "Capture" food (benevolent nature) to take back to your ant hill. Stray near the kitchen and risk a Raid (nuclear) attack on your ant hill (pollution=lots of dead ants). Build ant trails (roads) to your food sources. Capture and eat the family from Honey I Shrunk the Kids.

Ants on a multilevel TOT map! fantastic!
Ants could research things like Working Together Socially, anti-Spider Tactics,
Formic Acid Spraying! the list is endless.

Go on you know you want to...

                  What about "The Raj"?

A scenario set in India, beginning in 1740. The French and British are just beginning their contest for supremacy, amidst a subcontinent full of interesting and exotic cultures. Historically the British won, but the outcome was by no means certain. Your civs could include England, France, Afghanistan, Kashmir (Sikhs), Moghul Empire, Maratha Confederacy, Nizam Dominions, Mysore, etc. (There are MANY choices among the multitude of Indian principalities.) The graphics possibilities alone are something to salivate about! A well researched "Raj" scenario could be VERY entertaining! I'd be happy to offer some thoughts on Events and Wonders, if you decide to pursue this.
To La Fayette, as fine a gentleman as ever trod the Halls of Apolyton

From what I understand of that Civ game of yours, it's all about launching one's own spaceship before the others do. So this is no big news after all: my father just beat you all to the stars once more. - Philippe Baise

How about a WWI scenario focussing solely on the West front???? Think about it...... Infantry with high defense scores fortified in fortresses defending against scores of enemy infantry???? Awesome........

hey, don't take my idea! Unless you start it after August-September 1914. In that case I might even send some units.
But I'm pretty sure Temba won't make a ww1 scenario..

                        Clovis' France

Under him the Franks made most of the conquests you forced Charlemagne to make. His four sons further expanded the frontiers, driving Visigoths into Spain, expanding the frontier in Germany, and raiding North Italy.

If you need any help with that, I can provide it because that was one of the primary planned focuses of my suspended sequel to MarkL's Roman Empire. I can send you the map, etc.:-)

I vote for "the Raj"! It would defenetively fit your scenario style! And its a great topic! Asian scenarios are very rare and this scenario could have lots of interesting adventures...

Scottish struggle for independence (Braveheart). This will fit very good to your other scens.

Kull: I was planning to do something like that India thing a few days ago. I have even made a map !
