What if – The Japanese had been conquered by the communist Chinese?
Very, very unlikely. In the beginning of WWII the commies in China were nothing more than a punch of rebels with two provinces (Xianyang and Yanan) and even during the war they weren't able to build up a strong military. The Japs were far superior in military as well as in economical terms, the Chinese would never be able to amass the troops and ships they would need to invade Japan. They weren't even able to build up the infrastructure or industry they would need for such an immense project.
But apart from this I would say this will become a great alt-history scen and I'm looking forward to it. Interesting ideas

And that "Buried tank turret" historically was only a desperate defense measure, why is it included in the scenario?. Looks really nice BTW.
Would be cool if they where whats popped up around a city that had fallen though... (but not in exessive numbers). But looking at the current unit placement that is not what they are for here.

I agree.
One of course could asume that the comies won the chinese civil war long before the Japs invaded in 1931, and with help from the Soviet union they repulsed them.
Or that since Normady did happen in this alternative time line the allies had crushed Japanese power in the Pacific before that, and the communist chinese filled in the power vacum.

And speaking of the chinese i noticed the PA has only two unique units. Just a fighter and an infantry.

I think the Germans stopped to use them after Crete.
(I could be wrong)
More or less. They didn't use them in airborne operations anymore, but rather as elite light infantry.
They kicked allied ass at Monte Casino.

In this alternate world, Japan had received a mauling at the hands of the USA, who then pulled out to deal with strife on the homefront.
I guess Pericles has the right of it, we can imagine the Commies did get an upper hand,
and made the Japanese an offer they couldn't refuse, with soviet help...
The Germans have not went past the Urals because it was a natural border to the German ambitions of the Barbarossa campaign.
Sometime in the early 1950's we can assume that atomic bombs were hurled to finally end the resistance of the UK and Russia...
In Western Europe, a fear-filled peace now reigns,
In the East the Russians have pulled back to Vladisvostok and coduct operations from foward bases...
The Reich has turned the Urals into a mighty series of fortresses to repel the Russians
who are continuing a constant draining war from their bases in the East.
A searing atomic no man's land stretches from the Urals to Irkutsk.
No very nice to expand into, only fighting happens here!
About the scen itself;
It's about 60% done, I am working flat out to get the rules, map and other minor graphics into shape...
