It will take a couple of months, partly due to my high standards (I will do a very long testing), partly for historical accuracy. (My last scenario's events.txt took me a week to write, and that was not even a historical scen. )
Well, remember;
*Get good graphics for the units, etc. Try to make it clear what roughly what type, ability and era by the graphic alone.
*Dont bog it down too much with massives of free units appearing everywhere. If you do, try to get them too appear in an isolated area (of cource, there are exeptions to this)
*Try to make it clear in the start what you objective is. It could be domination, science race, objective-baced, destroying a particular unit etc.
*If you have time (or can be bothered), try to write CivPedia entries for any new units, techs. etc. Most people do' nt bother.
