  • Simple road questions

    1) Is the rate of road construction for a terrain type directly (1:1 relationship) and solely governed only by the 'turns' setting for irrigation in @TERRAIN? It appears that way, but I wanted to make sure.

    2) It also looks like when you edit the 'turns' setting for irrigation, but set 'irrigate' to 'no', that you still define the road building rate. Any 'gotchas' in this approach?

    There must be a Civ2 Manual reference, scenario-making tip sheet, or a landmark scenario that spells this out, but my memory seems to be burnt out.

    Basically the cost of road building is related to terrain movement cost. If there's a river one extra turn is involved.
