Happy new year, and I sure hope that 2003 is a better year then 2002 and 2001

i'm intrigued. What does it mean "meh"?
Me and my sis used "meh meh meh" as sarcastic "ha ha ha very funny" but I thought it was our, invented word.

It seems as though a great many people have simultaneously thought up the word "meh". Lousy zeitgeist.

Personally, I use it as a verbal equivalent of a shrug and a more laconic form of "whatever".
