Graphic Update: The Habsburg Bid for Mastery

Aimlessly clicking through my hardrive one idle weekend, I rediscovered The Habsburg Bid for Mastery, an excellent little scen about Reformation Europe 1526-1648, by Michael Daumen and Harlan Thompson.

Being only let down by rather ancient graphics, I decided to replace them with some newer stuff. This update is the result. I haven't really used any original units; most of the stuff in there is shamelessly ripped from compilations by Erwan, Arne, and units collected by Morten Blaabjerg.

This update includes both the .scn file and the rules.txt, because I had to modify both a little in order to accomodate the changes to the city graphics I had in mind. But otherwise, apart from the graphics, the scen is unchanged. (I've included the entire scen in the zip, with the updated graphics in place of the old ones.)Enjoy

Looking good! Gonna try this one out! And nice to see my units get used! - btw, the graphics have been given a minor overhaul from the work you saw, and a few units added to the collection. (I'm nearing completion of the medieval patch now, just gotta sort out barbarian stuff and test the whole thing thoroughly now.)
