  • Cheating AI terraformers?

Is it possible for the AI to "cheat" wrt irrigation, etc? I've noticed that oftentimes the Babylonians (on Earth games) build irrigation many squares from any rivers or oceans. What's going on?

I've not attempted it myself, but it's been reported that if you 'automate' your settler, there's a chance it will likewise cheat...

Talking of automated settlers, do any of you get the situation where an automated settler goes into your city and then cannot be reactivated at all? Short of disbanding the offending settler, is there anything we can do to get it to behave itself?
