  • Question - The Long XIX Century SCN

I have been playing "The Long XIX Century" which I just downloaded. For some reason, England refuses to build any units, making it a snap to roll over. The units are in their build box, the A.I. just chooses not to build them. Does anyone know what this bug is? Can I repair it? It is a good scenario aside from this problem. Is there a later version of it, mine came off 'poly?

I had to fix similar problems in my scn.

I noticed that under certain circumstances the AI was not able to build certain units - once I took control over the particular civ, I could build them normally. I´m not completely sure what it caused.
Have you checked the role of the units? Their slots? Or is the "WWII AI" on?

I liked that scenario a lot when I first started. My solution was simply to play England most of the time. I tried the Austrian and Prussian, and even the Russian position once or twice, but always came back to Great Britain. Try moving the difficulty setting up to Emperor or deity and see what that does. I think that that scenario was designed back in the good old days prior to MGE. Maybe even before FW.
