  • Two New Scenarios

    "Age Of Democracy" for Test of Time. Download it by pasting the following into the location box (I know it's blue, but for some reason Apolyton doesn't like Geocities links.) www.geocities.com/Athens/Atlantis/6324/modern.zip

    "Starsaga IV: Capital Offense" for Fantastic Worlds. Download it by pasting the following link:
    www.geocities.com/Athens/Atlantis/6324/galaxia.zip

    Input DEFINATELY appreciated.

      Thanks for caring, but please read the post. Due to the fact that GeoCities is evil, you can't just click on the blue text. You have to copy it and manually paste it into the location box.

        AAAAAH!!! My computer did everything totally wrong. If you played this scenario, IT DID NOT WORK! Download the correct copy be going back to that link (it's fixed now)

        Once again, I am REALLY sorry!

          "GS",

          There seems to be an error with the events file in Galaxia (well there is when I run it) - could you double check this? The problem seems to appear with the tribe names - the program is not recognising owner=Galaxions or owner=Namuhs.

            Since the last post a few moments ago - I've downloaded the file again, and now there's two scenarios - galaxia.scn and xo_a7184.scn - the former is still buggy, while the latter has a lot of cities in starvation - is this food shortage right?

              Thanks...are these Namuh cities. The Galaxions can go to h*ll in a handbasket...they're not meant to be played. If the Namuh are starving, then there's a problem.

                Oooops - must have picked the wrong tribe by mistake. Thanks for pointing that out.

                  No, thank YOU. It's not good to have anyone starving. But I looked at my copy last night and couldn't even find any Galaxion cities with problems. If it's not too difficult, could you tell me which ones they were?

                    Playing at emperor level;

                    Sector XXIV, XXIII, XX, III, Great Galaxia, and Hypergalaxia.

                    There was no problem with the Numahs.

                      Thanks a lot..do you have ICQ? There are a few other things I need to know (for example, on my computer, it tends to delete whole sections of rules.txt for no good reason, particularly technology)

                        Errr ... that doesn't sound too good!

                        If you want to get in touch - please e-mail me at c.hills@bigpond.com . I registered an ICQ number about two or three years ago, but was subjected to an unbelievable number of messages from people wanting to give me a cyber-hug for the day, or sell me stuff, or direct me to 'unsavory' web sites, etc... I've not persisted with it.
