hi all! I have a rather funny question
has anyone ever calculated the diversity of civ2 standard map?
diversity being number of tiles divided with number of areas. areas being a continuous collection of same tiles. for example ocean is an area, or lake or a forest with more then one tile, or mountain, any terrain with more then one tile, including those with only one tile (they are the smallest areas)
anyone did it? any idea how to do it wihtout manually counting the tiles?
it is related to a discussion we are having a Guns Germs and Steel forum. if anyone knows the answer I d be grateful. thanks for reading
