  • strange ToT bugs !

    first bug...
    all civs build again and again palaces !

    second bug..
    4 "same" units (but "allow to build" for 4 different Civs)
    does not appears in civilopedia / don't have "info"

    NEVER SEEN THESES bug before ! but that's my first
    ToT scenario (my others ToT scenarios are Civ2 conversions)

      no "no, no" !

      fortunatlely IA is able to build and use these units

      i'll try some changes
      if i found no response to the must anoying bug (palace build and build again) i'll post here rules.txt, japon.scn and events.txt.

        Is the defense of the unit that can not be built lower than the unit in the Musketeer slot?

          i dont use bad slots

          i don't use Musketeer or knight slots !
          and IA build these "no-info" units !

          for the capital bug, i don't know why it bugs like that but i think i 've resolve this problem. i give to palace a prerequis that civs can't have... tested 2-3 times and had no more "... change capital..." i've edit the event.txt to give human player a 2nd and "last" capital if he loose the "ancestral" one !

          IA civs auto-have a new capital ! Even if they can't build palace.

          i hope i'll soon be able to finish this "starting" japan scenario

            It makes no difference if the slot is used or not.

            Is the defense of the unit that can not be built lower than the defense lised in the rules.txt in the Musketeer slot?

              basic japan scenario finish

              i didn't succes to resolve the "no-info" units bug !
              musketeer's and knight slots attack/defense have been set to "0"
              and i don't use these slots (prereq: no- obs: no)

              that's not a disturbing bug, Players or IA can build AND build theses units !

              but i've notice that i can "create" them via events !!!!
              as i said , i'd never seen such a bug before when i created FW scenarios !

              The other bug (palace build and build by IA) has i said... that's no more a problem ! (even if here again, i haden't really resolve it)

              so i write because I've finished the basic scenario
              it's in french and it can be download here
              there's also a screenshot of the scenario.

              for "test" the bug then try to help the TEST1.ZIP (22 Ko)
              which contains rules.txt, japan1.scn and events.txt ishere

                Ooooups !

                i forgot to give u the name of the "no-info" units

                all "Lanciers" units (Fuj, Min, Nob, Tok)
                and brigands, voleurs, pirates jap... (not used in my scenario... they should be in the info list but aren't)
