Not bad, the units are a little dark and look shadowed
The kind of armour is the so-called "black iron" model, for what i could understand from my book "A Japan's history" ( black iron: japanese way to say steel; they learned how to make it from Portoguese merchants and priests. It was a lot more strong than traditional japanese armours, but a lot more expensive. Only Feudal lords - a.k.a. Daimyo - could afford them... ).
But I think i'll remove shadows ASAP.

A "Promethian" scen, no. But... another one' scenario about XVI.th century in Japan, YES ( sorry, I'm not going to tell you another word about him; as we use to say, "tell about sins, don't tell about sinners": i promised him, sorry ).

To FM Klesh
Basic demo units were arquibusers and archers; but in demo panel units i found Heavy and Light Samurai, Naginata weaponed Samurai, Monks, Ashigaru - Popular Infantry, Light and Heavy Cavalry, and Mounted Archers...

I think basic colors were linked to flags, but i don't know so much about this point-of-view: demo never worked on my PC..."Io non volgo le spalle dinnanzi al nemico!!!" - il Conte di San Sebastiano al messo del comandante in capo, battaglia dell'Assietta

Prometeus could i possibly use some of these units in my Shogun scenario, and i will take the time to change the colours (brown and grey and unknown colour based on Shogun by James Clavell)
Anyone with historical maps of the time so I would specificly know where to place the cities and create the territories. Thnksi am the great one:)

Sure... Do you need a XVI century Japan map also? But this reports feudal families and praefectures only..."Io non volgo le spalle dinnanzi al nemico!!!" - il Conte di San Sebastiano al messo del comandante in capo, battaglia dell'Assietta

Units are ripped from Shogun Demo version, but i suggest you to use the posted ones ( of course deminish darkness )... The XVI century map of Japan is available on Shogun demo version also, but this one is without cities.
A question. In XVI century several Japanese cities were almost indipendent from daimyo's power ( just look at Osaka: only Toyotomi Hideyoshi subdued tha town - and skinned alive its defensors ). I don't know how's situation showed in "Shogun" book... It's the same or am I wrong?
A tip: XVI-XVII century Portoguese uniform was spanish kind, except that portoguese used kinda WWI British silverlike helmet and white uniforms instead of red&yellow ones used by spanish.
PS "Shogun" is inspired by Willian Blake, right?"Io non volgo le spalle dinnanzi al nemico!!!" - il Conte di San Sebastiano al messo del comandante in capo, battaglia dell'Assietta

Ishido in the book has full control over Osaka castle
over 200 000 soldiers in the castle and some few thousand outside in side of osaka castle.
And each Diamyo had control of a city from where he ruled.
The book made Osaka seem like a very well controlled city from which the council of regents than Lord Ishido controled. Since Im basing my scenario on the book I will use all the information it provides, though i may end up with people saying "this isnt correct, bla blah blah"
Shogun the book? inspired by William Blake i dont knowi am the great one:)
