The demo of this old game used the Paintshop friendly *.lbm format, so I managed to borrow some really neat stuff.

Hey, good work. I never make many ancient scenarios, but I might yet, and these could be useful.

I already managed to rip off a few units ( i have modified some of them ) from Rise and Rule of Ancient Empires. Be carefull when you use them - always their design isn't so good as it seems ...

Really? Can you give some specific examples?

I noticed the greek chavalry shield's shape wasn't so big ( such a heavy metal shield couldn't be weared this way without using stirrups; also, many of them used a beotic-kind shield - a sort of halfmoon-shaped one ).
Also, the Celtic chavalry - from their pictures i guessed the barbarians were Celts - never used mounted archers. It was a scitic feature.
          Buaaahhhh aaaaahhh aaaaaH ...
Don't make me laugh too much ... AN ANCIENT EGYPTIAN CAMEL !!!! Yeah, how many, maaany weird pictures i will have to see ? Ancient Egyptians believed camels were unmanly beasts !!! Until today, I've seen only an even worse feature - THE AGE OF EMPIRES HEAVY-WEAPONED PHALANX !!!!
I modified these units in order to avoid such weird features ( turning Egyptians into Arabs, putting a spear on Celtic chavalry etc. etc.) - unfortunately, i've destroyed the scenario i used them for ( "Hellenistic Greece ); the other one ( the Celtic Britain scenario ) went corrupted this morning ( AAAAARGHH, che rabbia !!!! ): so i'll have to search on my CD collection ... just in case i made a copy.

P.S. In case you haven't noticed this yet, i'm pretty well used in making ancient scenarios ...
