You can thank God that twenty years from now when you're sitting by the fireside with your grandson on your knee, and he asks you what you did in the war, you won't have to shift him to the other knee, cough and say, 'I shovelled **** in Louisiana.'"

The adress is correct, but it brings up a window from crosswinds (my host) and it says that direct linking to member pages is not allowed, only links to their start pages.
      Please, try out this: http://www.crosswinds.net/~cbrosing/Civ2000.htm
It´s the start page of my site, click on SCENARIOS to go to the download area.
If this link doesn´t work, there may be some problems with the crosswinds server, (as sometimes in the past...)

Even though the site's all in German, I have to say, he has some nice stuff there. Worth peeking at even for us Anglophones.

          FANTASTIC!

I downlowded the Middle Ages one and it was really fun, even though I had no clue what I was researching, or even doing. Dipomacy was impossible (I just hit the enter button) and apparently I was allied with someone against the Byzantines.

The graphics are tops man, very class. Kudos to you on the irrigation and mining graphics, and all of the units look fabulous together.

          PLEASE MAKE IT INTO ENGLISH!

666 thumbs up! This is one of the most enjoyable scenarios I have played recently and I don't even know German.

            Criticisms:
-No new city names are provided
            Tips:
-If you find German to be unneeded extra flavour, delete game.txt, labels.txt, and pedia.txt from the scenario folder.

Thanks, that is nice to hear!

Fast_Eddie: I can´t make any promises about an English version, but I´ll try my best...

StLeo: I included new city names, but only as CITY.GER. Simply rename this file into CITY.TXT should solve the problem

And, blackclove, thanks for the help with the link!!!

BeBro: I'm also German und ich biete dir an, das Szenario ins Englische zu übersetzen. Wie wär's ?

I'm downloading it right now and look forward to play it.

Great scenario! One of the better ones lately. Wonderful units. Also great new improvements and wonders.
Not much criticism. Well, perhaps might be nice to translate it though a little German once in a while is not too bad. The research is really good. Once you have Trebuchets, however, it becomes very easy. What about making the more heavy machines (T'chets, towers, etc.) more expensive.

Oh, that sounds great to me, Allard
                      I think about Your suggestions...

And, with the help of Andz83, an English version is now "under construction".

                        Your priorities should be:
                        1. Events
                        2. Parts of Game.txt

Units are fine the way they are - IMHO, German gives them that cool medieval flavour.

St Leo: what does IMHO mean?
I think BeBro wants to know it, too

Thanks for the advices, guys! I´m very busy these days with other things, and so the translation needs some time...

Well, BeBro, I have some problems with sending emails at the moment, aber du hast vielleicht trotzdem eine von mir erhalten. Auf jeden Fall habe ich deine gelesen.

Well, fellows; the translation will be made as fast as Germans are able to make it. DOH!
