  • Problems with scenario's ZIP-files

I downloaded both Age Of Piracy and RedFront 1.4 from Apolyton, but I'm not able to play at least one of them.

    1. Age Of Piracy: I can unzip the ZIP-files, but the now appearing EXE-files "are no valid WIN32-files" (so or similar) What's to do here?

    2. Red Front 1.4: I can't even unzip zhe ZIP-files because something's wrong with them. Windows' advice: I shall download them again. Well, it takes a long time to download Red Front, now I want to know whether this fault will appear again or if I can download them in the assurance they will work now?

If you get the same message with all the Red Front files there must be something wrong with you decoding program... Very unlikely to get data corruption in several successive downloads.
What are you using to decode the zipfiles?

Unfortunately Age of Piracy only works with the "Conflicts in Civilization" version of Civ2. If you have Original Civ (2.42), Fantastic Worlds, or Multiplayer Gold, you're out of luck.

From what I understand of that Civ game of yours, it's all about launching one's own spaceship before the others do. So this is no big news after all: my father just beat you all to the stars once more. - Philippe Baise
