L'Impérialisme Européen

Hello all. I have thought of a perfect scenario on a topic I know much about. L'Impérialisme Européen, or European Imperialism, is a scenario about European powers racing to colonize the Americas and Africa. The reason I do not want the world is because of Asia (many other civs).
Does everyone think it would be a nice idea...
I was thinking some new art by myself. I have already begun planning for the types of units to draw.
The scenario will begin in 1492 - ?
I was thinking 1492 - 1792, possibly.
If this does not sound great and exciting to you guys (for I have seen not much makes you excited except Red Front ) then back to the drawing board.
If you have heard of Europa Universalis, you'd know what I am talking about, and know what inspired the project. No art will be taken from the game though.
This will be Scenario I of the pre-modern age scenario series, featuring the Industrial Revolution scenario, the African expansionism scenario, and the Asian Conflict of European colonies and Asian nations.
Suggestions and thoughts are welcome.
Thanks,
George
