Don't worry 'bout that. I never even dreamed about flaming anybody, and even though some of my posts may sound a bit angry -which was not intended- I never thought bad of anybody here.

The government yes, but not the people. I would go so far as to say that the populace is pro-american, but they are definitely not anti. Not to long ago in Iran they had the largest protests ever in the history. The Mullahs are the ones who are Anti-American, the country itself loves most things american, except our foreign policy.

Canada did deploy Joint Task Force Two to Afghanistan and from what I have read they performed exceptionaly and did their country proud.

I was too toying on the Idea relating to this scenario. But mainly the main focus would be in the Afganastan theater.

As far as I know I never released a scenario where I did the labels though
I did put up a screenshot or two in the thread...

Not that I intended to keep it a secret or anything, hence the posts in that thread.

So for example, Osama could hide in any Islamic city and the only way the US can win the scenario is to find that city. However attacking cities will get the world pissed off at the US and bring on a huge war it can't win. The Bush unit could be the same way, but it would have movement of 1, and couldn't go anywhere without the Airforce One unit perhaps. A state visit to another nation would improve relations dramatically, but it would put W in more danger of being attacked.
              Good idea- Only some commentaries:

              1) The computer is not smart enough to realize how 'special' is the Bush unit.

              2) In order to make a unit the preferred objetive for a cruise misil attack, put the shield cost of that unit very, very high.

              3) How are you going to improve the relations with the Bush unit??? I don't know how it is possible.

              4) The Civ2 AI (specially in CIV2 MGE) is very agressive, and, if you don't pay enough attention to reputation and initial relations, you can find yourself in a "All against USA" war
Trying to rehabilitateh and contribuing again to the civ-community

i.e. you have to bribe and buy off everybody. Who says the civ engine isn't like the real world.
