Oscurantism Revolt Increasing Events

Just wondering'; how often does the Obscurantism Religous revolt increasing events occur?

I had a 27% event risk for 1 year, then 3 yrs later after my coutry split into 4, I had a 21% event risk

Is there any special time when these bad events happen?

They're random, though crap events are more likely to hit u during bad times.

Yes, they are horrid- I received about 10 of them in a 3 month period

Then 2 enemy alliances declared war on me

Brandenburg/Russia/Austria
Hanseatic League/Denmark/Sweden

While I was at a LOSING war with the Turks
