-excellent formation of France, Russia, and the Ottoman Empire
-most COTs have been rearranged to balance the game and encourage historical growth
-Circassians simulated with a Pagan state
-early Crimea and Astrakhan for the purposes to giving them sensible boundaries. Note that the two Genoan provinces don't stay Genoan for very long.
-Aragon now has a single-province Catalonian vassal to discourage its expansion into France and encourage the French capture of Rouisillon
-Austria, Denmark, and Poland less likely to go German-crazy
-Prussia survives
-Siberian corridor slightly easier to colonise
-no event-based cheating

Note: Starting under EEP in 1430 results in frequent crashes, but switching to it after 1480 or so doesn't.
