  • Do the Movies add something to the game experience?

I'm downloading the game now, and (surprisingly) it will come without movies and all the other crap.

Will it affect something? Or do the movies have the same importance as they have in Civ(space wasters)?

There are only opening and closing movies, plus whatever the game distributer might put in.

While not vital, the sound adds lots of clues as to what's going on. Religion changes, declaration of war, diplomatic proposals.

Eli: Any reason you come in here and admit to copying the game?

Eli: I'll ask you nicely not to participate in this forum with your stolen copy of the game. This place is for A) People who bought the game and B) People not rude enough to pretend there's nothing wrong with stealing it.

Since you are neither A or B, I suggest you stay out of here until you buy the game.
