  • Wierd events .......

Ok here are three things ive seen that shouldnt happen.

    1) The Hansa annexed hannover, Savoy, Brandenburg, Denmark, Hessen, and took skane and most of sweden.

2)poland lithuana annexed Eire in IGC

    3) Austria annexed Hungary, venice, Bohemia and ragusa.

Here are the 3 dumbest things

    1) papal states invades the highlands and takes the grampians and strachtliyadea

2)Iraq annexs persia, malemukes and occupys eastern turkey (also having troops france) and a colony in canada

3)Russia occupys most of europe (Golden Horde, Kazak, crimea, poland, sibir, georgia, astrakahn, pskov, tuetonic order, half of sweden (finland area) and some of hungary.) At that point the russians where too big for anyone to handle. And the AI (cleverly) continued there conquest of europe. Bye annexing Hansa, brandenburg, hessen, and taking jllyland. Before Revolts slowed them down until about 1760. But bye then, they could only annex hungary and were finally beatin back bye turkey. But in the end, they had all the VPs .....I was england btw...

    Play the partitioned Hansa IGC.

2)poland lithuana annexed Eire in IGC

That's weird, England usually annexes Eire early on.

    3) Austria annexed Hungary, venice, Bohemia and ragusa.

    Why is that weird?

They got Kurland in my last game.

They got a Tamerlane of their own.

Is there an IGC that starts in 1492? The version I have starts a lot later, when colonization is already in full swing. I've heard the IGC is a lot more stable than the GC, but since I want to start at the very beginning, it's the basic GC for me
A fact, spinning alone through infospace. Without help, it could be lost forever, because only THIS can turn it into a News.

I think it's nice when something strange happens. History is something very dynamic and unpredictable (unless you're a marxist). Much can happen in a few hundred years. What seems weird for us today with the end result as historical facts might not at all been that strange. Empires in the backwater might stumble into a golden opportunity through slick diplomacy, good economic polices and sheer luck and change the way of history.

If everything went as expected it wouldn't be much of a game, would it?

I look into my cyrstal ball from now to 50-100 years from now...

            what do i see?

I see an American flag over the eiffel tower and M1a4 tanks driving under the brandenburg gate... I see my country conquering yours as well as the world. Dont think it will happen? No? Watch it......

We americans are becoming more and more like the Nazi's everyday.... Which may be a good or bad thing I do not know.

Just let me be the first to tell you this , consider yourself warned
