I know it's there in the save files somewhere but they are so damn big I didn't know where to find it. Could someone tell me?

Use Wordpad, but yeah, that works. Just keep hitting next until your country comes up. If you're playing as Austria, it's labeled as HAB for Habsburgs."Let us kill the English! Their concept of individual rights could undermine the power of our beloved tyrants!"

There is also a utility called EUview. It opens EU savegames and shows you all the countries stats, including badboy in tabled format, very easy to read. You will find it in the downloads section of the official site.

Well, you Finding 'badboy' is usually good enough. You'll come to your nation soon enough.“I give you a new commandment, that you love one another. Just as I have loved you, you also should love one another. By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another.”

The EUview sounds cool but I couldn't find it in the Downloads section. Have they removed it or something?
BTW the suggested method worked and I found I have a badboy of 22. That rather bad right? That probably explains why everyone seems to be declaring war on me at the drop of a hat.
How do you reduce your badboy value? Do you just sit around for a while without expanding?

badboy value is set in afile that escapes me the moment but its value is negligble as an inrease if you take provinces in a defensive war, better yet if you come to aid of an ally, lots of increase the more anti social your style of plays, basicly its a game balance ploy to inhibit militry expansionist play.

Yes, 22 is bad but lots of players enjoy getting higher numbers.
Only honest way to lower the number is wait. For 22 to drop to 0 requires 88 years (1 point every 4 years), although getting it down below 10 is usually good enough. Or you could lose some wars and give up territories, but not much fun in that.
The "dishonest" way is to change the number in the file and save it, then you can keep on rolling.
