New Paradox project is Hearts of Iron 2:Doomsday

Hearts of Iron 2 is now selling for 20 dollars. Thinking of giving the game a try as its very cheap.
Would someone who plays empire building games like Civ3,CtP2,and Superpower enjoy this game?
Been reading the Pardox forums and many are posting with the new patch 1.3 and future add on for HOI2 it will be best strategy game on the market. A cold war option that may lead to WW3 for only 20 dollars. Seems to be a good deal.

It is not really an empire building game. More of a strategic war game. It is definately worth $20. If interested in WWII it's a must buy.
