  • HOI banned in China!!!!

Yes, its a very dangerous game! Watch out!

I like how they say it is not historically accurate! Never mind that paradox concentrates foremost on accuracy. Perhaps they think they actually did control Taiwan Manchuria and also the whole world while they are at it. I suppose its a Confucian tradition to rewrite history.

I'm sure if there were historical inaccuracies, but in China's favour, they wouldn't have banned it. But I state the obvious.

Sometimes you have to, just like the Emperor with his new clothes.

In any case, since HoI was never sold legally in the first place (through a Chinese distributor, translated in Chinese, etc.)....all this media attention is just giving Paradox free publicity for HoI 2.

I don't think this will really effect sales somehow. How big a market is China anyhow?

Maybe HoI 2 should be sold in two different versions, "historical" and "chinese".

It's so obvious the despotic demogogues that run china are fearfull of reminding their people of the past. That is why HOI is banned in china.

Never forget that this is totalitarianism at it's finest. Don't forget that a the freedom of owning a simple video game is being denied to 1.22 billion chinese.
