  • the freezing problem!!!

    okay i have haved eu2 for a while and i just got crown of the north and decided to plasy the alternative game mode for eu2 the comes with cronw of the norht, so i was playing as lrrain, i was very succesful, then i got bored a quit for a while, after about 4 hours i decided to play again but when i tried to load my game it would freez during the loading process and it always freezes at the same point, when it says loading scenario, i reinstalled the game like five times and it stiff frezes, and i ran virus scan i have no viruses and my disck has no scratches so whats going on?

    most likely the save got corrupted somehow

      You could try starting again as a different country and then loading your save. ie: Such that you'll be playing as the new country until you're past the point at which the file became corrupted.

        Would this be something that deleting the playable country list in the save would help with? Or has that bug been fixed long ago?

          Same problem here.



          I have had the same problem when I try to load a saved game. The game also crashes when I try to go to Center of Trade view, I think that the person you created this mod is an idiot becuase obviously he forgot to debug to find any data conflicts that would crash the game....Did you by chance alter any of the countries?

            That CoT crash sounds a little like the one that came up in the AGC when going from 1.05 to 1.06 IIRC. Something to do with a variable changing from an integer to a floating point ...

            I found a similar problem with loading a savegame for the fantasia scramble scenario in 1.06.
            Never found out exactly what the problem was but it worked fine as soon as I eventually installed 1.07.
            I wonder if somebody made a hash of some version numbers when putting the CotN package together.
