You should visit the Paradox forum for Chariots of War(also called CoW), they are already making what you are suggesting. (okay, it's based partly on Legion and partly on EU, but Legion is also a Pardox game.)Do not fear, for I am with you; Do not anxiously look about you, for I am your God.-Isaiah 41:10
I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made - Psalms 139.14a

Havard: I guess you're right, but it's not quite like Legion either, as far as I've understood. Let's say it's a fully new game!Do not fear, for I am with you; Do not anxiously look about you, for I am your God.-Isaiah 41:10

Yes strangely enough the Ancient era was the highest voted option for a follow up to EU yet we have had EU II, HoI, and soon Crusader kings appearing before it. Perhaps the daunting task of researching accurate frequent events for kingdoms long dead put them off? Still they have shown that they are prepared to tackle some really hard adaptations so assuming the market research shows that demand for an Ancient game remains high then it should get done eventually. I just hope it won't be purely focussed on Greece or Rome as was hinted at once.To doubt everything or to believe everything are two equally convenient solutions; both dispense with the necessity of reflection.

Although, just what are you looking for in the ancient game?
