As I recall, after 1.09 the game worked fine. But 1.10 had some bugs, don't know if they were fixed.Comment

1.03, where HoI currently is, is a decent Beta. From here the playtesting can start for serious, and we get some glimpse of the general direction of the game´s development.
But don´t expect advanced features like an ai or something before 1.05. With further testing and additional 6 months of development, 1.06 will then come close to pose a challenge, sort of. But at least one major feature will still be broken, this is tradition. Has to do with some Swedish superstition, completely finishing a game means 7 years of bad luck or so.

If you have a problem with this, go play a Blizzard game. You won't be able to complain of lacking features because they never planned to add them in the first place and are not going to add anything worthwhile in the patches.
Total Annihilation had a better interface than WarCraft 3 in Cthulhueaten 1997. Warlords Battlecry had real heroes 2 years before WarCraft was released with a poor imitation.
I'm not even going to mention the near lack of units in WarCraft 3 (or StarCrap for that matter).
Did I just go off on a rant there?
