I'm using 1.08 and the scripted revolts seem a little odd.
These revolts seem to be effective:
the two 'Disintegration' events for the mongol khanates, although the Golden Horde seems to survive a lot more intact than they should quite often.
The Dutch Revolts
The collapse of the ming events.
But these are events that historically wracked their countries with civil war for decades and yet are usually just speedbumps:
The Thirty Years War events: There's NO WAY that Austria should hold on to the protestant and reformed germans so easily. How many times have we seen this bloated austria convert all the protestants? The german protestant minors should be given some BIG TIME long lasting revolt risks to prevent the catholics sweeping all.
The Wars of Religion in france: Rarely do we ever see the french catholic and huguenot sides emerge, despite the fact that it tore the country for years. It should be just a little stronger.
Hugh O'Neils Irish Rebellion: ....is WAYYY too easily put down. Any England that is not already revolting from war exhastion can ignore the irish rebels pretty much.
the Time of Troubles: The revolt risk should be in the Polish ruthenian and russian territories as well and a little stronger over all.
Cromwell revolts, the Glorious Revolution in England, etc: all these english revolts should be a little stronger.
Will I find better revolts in the AGP or do I have to add them myself??
