I had a great game as Navarra. Didn't win the VP race, but finished second to France. I did stick to Spain and England.

That's a good strategy, but only for first decades. As Trebizond, I sticked to Turkey, to betray it and destroy as soon as possible...

That was a typo, I meant "stick it to" Spain and England. It tooka while, but once Spain was colonizing and had her troops scattered to the wind,.... WAR! It was easy getting a huge war score and take provinces from her. Same thing w/ England.

The most dramatical part of my game as Trebizond was the Constantinople case.
I was besieging it hands to hands with Turks, and at the end of the war, Turks took all Byzantine provinces but this one. My army was still present in this province. I was a tiny state, only 2 provinces, perhaps 20 000 citizens... And this province itself had several times bigger population than mine... So I decided to declare war, though I lost 6 stability because of that and was vulnerable to attack from the east...
I took the city and jumped up in the ranking.
It was actually a very immoral thing to do...

Yeah, lack of moral values always pays

Yeah, they suck. I hate mine vassals that suddenly cancel vassalship and attack me, or allies that refuse to join me at war and attack me the next minute.
