Pros:
*Very deep and interesting(if you like history, of course especially the part from post Napoleon --> WW1)
*All countries in the world playable gives it a huge re-playabilty value
*The best from EU2 and HoI, and some new things
Cons:
*Too much micromanaging for some people(but you can automate a lot)
*No tutorial, so you are on your own to learn the game. If you have played Paradox' games before, you'll probably learn fast, but for a new player, it can be much.Do not fear, for I am with you; Do not anxiously look about you, for I am your God.-Isaiah 41:10
I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made - Psalms 139.14a

I am very impressed with Victoria. I would recommend it.
I am having a whale of a time at the moment playing as Sardinia-Peidmont. I have united Italy and am colonising the Far East. I am currently at war with China. France, my ally is attacking from the North, while I am attacking from the South. The AI is rather impressive - for example, I have very little navy, so French battleships are escorting my transports in and out of Chinese waters.... very cool stuff.
