It's wise to take your CB-shields first. IIRC, Mantua and Ragusa is that. Take them. Austria is also important to take before they get too large. If you'd been earlier in the game, Byzantium would have been a good courtry to take. A rich province, that would stop OE from getting too strong! After you have taken aforementioned, you could try to cripple Hungary, but do not let that be the prime objective. Oh, and take Italy when you're into it!

I'd restart the game in 1419 and first take all of your CD shields. Once that is done take over Constantinople when the Byzentines are down to one provience and prevent the OE from taking it. Not only is Greek one of your culture types (so you'll get lots of manpower from it) but you will also prevent the Ottomans from getting a CoT and a massively rich capital provience.

Once that's done you should get Syrmark from Austria so you get gold income then spend however long it takes to get all of the Italian, Slavonic, and Greek cultured lands. Go slow with this last part since you won't have CB shields and revolt will be a problem.

Collect all the money you can, and buy you out of one of the wars? Holy macaroni, how did you manage that? How big army do you have btw?

Sometimes stuff like that happens to me as well.... weak army and low reputation do that.
