        Ok...
        1. If you're able to download all the three files and the extra patch. You don't NEED the graphics, but it's recommended.
        2. Asuming that you have all of these files downloaded, you need to locate your EU2-directory, let's say it is
        C:\Europa Universalis 2\
        3. Extract all the zip-files into that directory, the zip-file will create a directory named Independent. You mustn't unzip the leaderpatch before the leader (as that would make no good!).
        4. Asuming that you somewhere (perhaps on the desktop) have a shortcut to EU2, you should copy that one and edit its properties. If you don't have one, make a shortcut and edit its properties.
        5. At the target line it should say
        "C:\EU2-directory\eu2.exe"
        in this example it is
        "C:\Europa Universalis 2\eu2.exe"
add Independent after the last ", making it look like this
        "C:\Europa Universalis 2\eu2.exe" Independent
        Don't change the "start in"-field
        6. Start the Indpendent Europe Scenario with the shortcut, if you're successful a special menubackground will appear.
