I'll just post this as a thread for all the amazing screenshots from these games posted recently during the apolyton downtime.
First off, Half-life 2 has been officially announced (with a release date of this september, too), and screens have been leaked from early magazine previews. They're not supposed to be out there, as the NDA from valve doesn't expire until the 28th:
(these might come down soon; PCGamer's been sending out cease-and-desist emails left and right)
Next off, Mario Kart for gamecube. New characters, and now the karts carry 2 characters each that you switch between during the race. The characters have special attacks and such
