Lonestar: Ok, maybe, first, let me take over that country I am attacking now. I'll deal with uncle Joe later.

I hate to spoil the fun but aren't you geezers supposed to talk about the federation?

. the federation is not such a big need right now, since most of the players cannot go to war for the Glory Of Apolyton yet. The Federation mainly exists as a cover from invasion of others, showing that one shouldn't mess with individual member states.

        For now, that is.

        How's your country going, Colon?

You won't get an effective federation if you don't work out what is should look like. No need to wait to discuss that.

Replying on your question in the other thread.

Azazel: I normally attack with a force of 1000-1500 helis (just attacking the target to reduce their war index). With 8 AA guns, they can shoot down 4-15 helis each time. With less helis attacking, they will be able to shoot down more.

It really depends on how many AAs they have at each target.

Let us know how your bomber forces go. I'm finding that destroying cities with helicopters takes quite a bit of ammo.

Finally, ignore the ground forces. Unless you are invading with ground units too, just leave them there to defend the country after you take it over.
I'm building a wagon! On some other part of the internets, obviously (but not that other site).

Franit Empire is around #400 in world rankings!
I will never understand why some people on Apolyton find you so clever. You're predictable, mundane, and a google-whore and the most observant of us all know this. Your battles of "wits" rely on obscurity and whenever you fail to find something sufficiently obscure, like this, you just act like a 5 year old. Congratulations, molly.

I am #516, but that's because I am at war, and my finance index is... ahem.

Just that your corps are gold. Upgrade quality as soon as you can, don't trade with contracts because you can get more on the open market.

Order supplies at -10 or -15, that way you almost never get shortages, and your quality will be higher.

I was lucky and got a country with about 10 good corps. Each making more than 1B a month, so I was able to close the losers and start a bunch of new ones.

Skanky, build three corporations in 'The Republic of Euskadi' There is lots of unemployement, and if you put all three there, I will drop the tax rate by 10%.

It's much better to build your own corporations than have CEO's

Cool, people implementing their ideology in the game.

I do it too. Draconian tax levels, nonexistant unemployment. All is good.

Lawrence: you more low level Managers.
