Nethack Question: How to get it back from my pet?

My pet baby silver dragon has taken my $ and my GiantSlayer from me and won't drop it.

How do I get them back without killing my pet?

edit: SORRY DUMB QUESTION. TAME PETS DON'T PICK UP ANYTHING. I LATER KILLED MY PET DRAGON AND IT HAD NOTHING.
