What Are Your Favorite HoMM3 Spells?

my favorite spells are all first level spells, best when cast by an expert.
haste, slow, shield, stone skin & bless.
especially haste turns combat into blitzkrieg (if you are playing castle that is)
I only rarely use blind.
magic missile is the most used damege inflicting spell by me.

Dyonr skin? I thought that was useless- how much damage does it really deflect?

Gotta agree with Andemagne on that. Expert makes those cheap 1st level spells wonderously effective, and any hero can learn them and reach expert in one magic.

Stone Skin: defence rating is increased by 6 (Expert Effect)

Okay- thanks for your offer- my version didn't ship with the manual since it was just a flimsy "Platinum Edition" :grr: and for some reason I have misplaced both the box and Heroes II ?

Ande, you forgot to mention about shield and stoneskin at expert level: All friendly troops effected.
