The concept of an Arcology is that it is a self contained "Ark" containing all the requirements its inhabitants need. A dry run for building big spaceships that will be going where they can't just dial up 300,000 pizza's if their internal cooking arrangements fail. Okay this probably means its inhabitants are eating tank-grown yeast products for all their meals because tere simply isn't the space to raise animals and grow traditional crops unless you drastically increase the volume of space per resident, but thats the idea.Originally posted by XarXo

I can see a huge building with one or more highways with hundreds of truck. Also train connections, subway and other transports saturated trying to solve the demand problem. Think in all the load/unload actions of a small city of 65.000 to 300.000 inhabitants!!!To doubt everything or to believe everything are two equally convenient solutions; both dispense with the necessity of reflection.

December 20, 2002 - Break out the parade permit and port-o-johns, Mr. Blevins -- Maxis let it be known today that SimCity 4 has finally been completed. While we'll have to wait until the new year to get our hands on a copy, this latest in the acclaimed SimCity franchise promises to be the best yet. But we can already see that the game at least looks fantastic courtesy of a full minute-and-a-half of exclusive footage straight from Maxis.
