I'm not sure if you have heard about it, but it's a fairly good and nice game. Actually it's more than addictive. Or perhaps I should say to be honest, that my life is dedicated to it.

So many times I'll start playing the game in the morning, and before I know it the sun has set, and I haven't even gotten out of my chair since starting the game.
Back in the old days, The Bard's tale sucked up a lot of my time. since getting a PC, though, no other game has taken so much of my gaming time as some version of Civilization. Civ2 has probably taken the lion's share of that. I'm afraid that since Civ3 has come out, I play little else. I don't have the problems with it that everyone else seems to have, and every patch seems to make it a bit better.
other than that, some version of Diablo and some version of Heroes Of Might and Magic run a close second
Any man can be a Father, but it takes someone special to be a BEAST
I was just about to point out that Horsie is simply making excuses in advance for why he will suck at Civ III...

Civ2 is the game I have played most in my life.
2nd most played game in my life is Sim City 2000.
and I own all the sim and civ games.
sad isn't it, its like Im under some sort of spell
the game I play the most now is WWII Online, but thats only been in the past couple of weeks and could change at any time.
Civ I! Far and a way the most amount of time ever on a game. Probably played a good five hundred games always in an effort to tweak my strategy to gain a higher score. Too many times did I play it.
I played SimCity a lot as well. In the last few years I have spent time on all the Blizzard games but nothing to rival the original Civ.

Civ2, for the sheer fact that I've had it for so long. I got it for Christmas of '96 and played it constantly 'till AC came out. Then after a while, I went back to it and played it even more.

If you include forums and a web site, then it is easily Alpha Centauri. Not including them, then I'd have to say Civ 2.

"At least there were some thoughts went into Apocalypse." - Urban Ranger
"Apocalype was a great game." - DrSpike
"In Apoc, I had one soldier who lasted through the entire game... was pretty cool. I like apoc for that reason, the soldiers are a bit more 'personal'." - General Ludd
Some other time-sucking games for me were: Diablo 2 LOD, i had that game for a very short time, but i played it from sun-up till sun-down. I discovered civ2 pretty late, but it has been one of the more time consuming games.
